We all make New Year's resolutions but we rarely manage to stick to them. How much do you want to make this year different and actually turn your health and fitness goals into reality?

Mike Pearce is a personal trainer and online body transformation coach, who with his team will be opening the doors to new members to come and join Uni Fit training in the New Year. With Uni Fit sessions, you can make 2017 your best year yet for achieving your fitness goals, no matter how big or challenging they might seem.

Mike backs up his training by offering three simple steps to prevent you from giving up on your fitness resolutions and to ensure that you achieve all your goals. Mike and the Team at Uni Fit will help you to:

  1. Become crystal clear on your ‘why’. With Mike's help, you will dig down to your underlying motivation for getting fit, whether it's to lose weight for a wedding, keep up with forever active kids or have the confidence to wear swimwear. Once you understand your reasons for achieving your goal, you will have an emotional attachment to it which will take your motivation to another level.
       
  2. Break down your big long-term goal into smaller manageable shorter goals. You'll work with Mike and the team to set attainable milestones while keeping you focussed on your long-term goal. Together, you will plan and determine how you can start to make small lifestyle changes that will put you on track and keep you motivated.
       
  3. Be accountable to someone other than yourself. You've got your goal and your plan, but can you do the work all by yourself? As the saying goes, “stronger together”. Working closely with a like minded people and having a coach like Mike will dramatically increases your chances of hitting your goals simply because there is someone to whom you are accountable. No-one is perfect and things will not always go according to the plan, but having a coach and being part of a group will prepare you for this and prevent any small slips from stopping you in your tracks.
