Library raises record total at charity Christmas fair

The University of Manchester Library held its sixth annual charity Christmas fair last week

On Thursday, 8 December, £550 was raised in two hours from sales of homemade cakes, fudge and coasters, as well as a raffle, chocolate tombola and the perennial favourite, Play Your Cards Right.

Funds raised will be donated to Shelter and Cancer Research UK and the six-year total now stands at £3200.
