Get your Christmas presents wrapped and support a good cause
30 Nov 2016
University staff are offering to wrap your presents in aid of the Emergency Student Hardship Fund
Hate wrapping for Christmas? Get all the work done for you AND support a really good cause. Your fellow University staff are offering to wrap your Christmas presents in their lunch hours, in exchange for a donation to the Emergency Student Hardship Fund.
This Fund makes grants to students who find themselves in unexpected financial hardship through no fault of their own. It can be the difference which allows a talented student to stay on their course, and complete their studies at Manchester. With no dedicated government support for this area, the majority of the Hardship Fund comes from the generosity of donors to the University.
Wrapping will take place in The Christie Building on Monday-Thursday lunchtimes between 12 and 23 December.
