Keep your bike safe on campus

Due to an ongoing problem with bike thefts on campus, University Security are promoting the various schemes that the University has introduced to keep student/staff bikes safe
The vast majority of bikes are stolen because they are secured by a poor cable-type lock. Here's how the University can help you to make your bike more theftproof when it's not in use.
Have your bike marked for free
An additional unique number is added to the frame of the bike at regular sessions on campus:
Buy a University gold standard 'D' lock at a big discount
Once your bike is registered and marked, you are then eligible to buy a University gold standard ‘D’ lock and cable (RRP £45) for £15. The lock can only be bought through:
