Teaching and Learning in promotions: training for the new criteria

The new criteria for teaching promotions have been accepted by Senate and are being rolled out in the Faculties. In order to assist in their application, training sessions on the new criteria are to be offered during October and November by Staff Learning and Development.

The sessions are aimed at people who support staff going for promotion where teaching forms part of their case. Kersti Börjars (AVP Teaching, Learning and Students) will be running the session supported by various experienced promotions committee members from the Faculties.

The sessions will be run as short interactive ‘lunch and learn’ sessions in the Staff Learning and Development centre in Roscoe Building giving you the opportunity to learn more and raise any questions.
