Upgrade from economy to business class: Dropbox for Business landing soon
14 Sep 2016
It’s time to upgrade from economy to business class, Dropbox for Business is arriving in October and will be available to all University colleagues
Dropbox for Business is a safe and secure place that lets you share large files and folders with colleagues who are external to the University and that you can access from anywhere.
We know when colleagues sign up to other cloud based services they will have entered into a personal agreement with the provider that may never have been checked or give the right kind of protection for privacy or security.
With Dropbox for Business, we’ve put in place a contract with Dropbox that helps us to protect the information shared across the service so it’s safe and secure and compliant with data protection laws.
Dropbox for Business was chosen for you by colleagues as the preferred secure external collaboration tool. It has enough space to hold a million pictures, it’s free, fast and easy to use.
Dropbox for Business accounts will be landing and ready to activate in October, but first you will need to request the service online and accept the terms and conditions of use, including the Dropbox information handling guidelines.
If you’re new to external collaboration and want to get on board or a seasoned user of Dropbox or another product and want to upgrade from your economy package to our business class service, then check in to the Dropbox for Business scenarios pack to find out what you will need to do when you receive your account in October.
