New Student Recruitment, Selection and Admissions policy
12 Sep 2016
Following changes to the QAA Code of Practice, our Student Admissions policy has been expanded to articulate our processes and practices related to student recruitment and selection
Over recent months a Recruitment, Selection and Admissions Policy working group has been reviewing University policies in response to changes to the QAA Code of Practice B2; Recruitment, Selection and Admissions to HE. To ensure continued compliance, our Student Admissions policy has been expanded to articulate our processes and practices related to students recruitment and selection. It also reflects changes made in response to advice from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) on consumer protection law.
The new Student Recruitment, Selection and Admissions policy has been approved by the University’s Teaching and Learning Group and by Manchester Doctoral College. It continues to articulate our commitment Widening Participation and to the delivery of fair and transparent admissions processes.
Academic and PSS staff involved in the recruitment and admission of students across all levels of study are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the new policy.
If you have any questions related to the implementation of the policy, please contact:
