Could you inspire a spark for science?
02 Sep 2016
Science Spectacular, a key event in the Manchester Science Festival programme, returns for 2016 and we're looking for researchers, students or academics with a passion for communicating science.
Now in its sixth year, our award-winning University-wide science fair invites families to explore interactive exhibits and take part in a diverse range of science and engineering challenges.
This year, it will take part on Saturday 29 October at the Manchester Museum, from 10am until 4pm.
With more than 1,700 visitors last year, the focus will be on communicating your research with imagination and enthusiasm through table top activities and ensuring that attendees leave with a spark for science!
We are also looking for researchers to take part in our short 30-minute Sampling Science talks. No slides but props, images and objects are used to get the conversation started with the audience.
You can find out more and apply at Public Engagement at Manchester and please note that applications close on 9 September.
