Get a free taste of the future in an interactive cooking show!
Discover how climate change could affect your weekly shop. See how our top chefs rise to the challenge as some of our favourite ingredients disappear and we find ways to eat and cook differently.
Climate scientists, the Real Junk Food Project, local chefs, cooks, foodies and artists will come together to make Climate Change Café Part of the Manchester Climate Change Leaders program.
With support from the European City of Science Festival and underpinned by up to the minute research undertaken by Tyndall Manchester’s researchers, this free event explores the food that may, and may not, be in your cupboards and on your plates in difference climate change scenarios.
Come and see how climate change may impact your favourite foods such as bread, dairy and chocolate. Hosted by Masterchef participant Oliver Bray and featuring local celebrity chefs Mary-Ellen McTague and Robert Owen-Brown, this will be an exciting interactive cook off not to be missed.
