University intern organises swap shop for charity
Bored of your wardrobe? Need something new for the summer, but you just don't feel like spending a fortune?
Then come to the #OxjamMCR swap shop!
The event – on Saturday, 18 June – has been organised by Elena Cavallero, Student Engagement and Administration intern at the Directorate for the Student Experience, and her friends, to raise money for Oxfam.
With an array of sizes, styles and fashions, and live music too, swap shop will be open for business at at Twenty Twenty Two on Dale Street, Manchester.
You can bring things to swap – an item for an item or items individually priced from £1 to £10.
It’s £1 for entry or free if you bring items to donate.
All proceeds to go to Oxjam Manchester for Oxjam Music Festival to support Oxfam GB.
