The Annual Cycle Event (ACE 2016) is back for another year, this time celebrating its 10th anniversary! ACE 2016 will take place on Wednesday, 15 June during Bike Week, and is this year hosted by Manchester Metropolitan University at the Business School and Student Hub. The event begins at 8am and will run until 3pm, with activities and spin-off events scheduled throughout the day.
This is a perfect opportunity to try cycling, with one week's free bike hire on offer, as well as a whole host of cycling suppliers and exhibitors on site. In addition to a free breakfast between 8am and 11am, attendees will have the chance to to participate in Rollapaluza Roller Racing, take a Heritage Bike Tour of Manchester or try out electric cargo bikes on the day. There will also be several competitions and prize draws running at the same time.
As with the Monthly Corridor Cycle to Work events, please register in advance to help the organisers plan for numbers, and speed up your sign-in on the day itself. When promoting the event or sharing pictures on the day itself, please tweet photos to @CorridorTravel using #ACEMCR16 - send in pictures of your journey or at the event itself!
