13 Jun 2016
Introducing a redesigned Finances microsite to empower students to be financially savvy and a brand new financial education interactive toolkit to encourage convenient bite-size learning 24/7
The Student Support & Advice team is pleased to announce the launch of a new and improved Finance microsite (www.studentsupport.manchester.ac.uk/finances/) which has been redesigned with a fresh look and user-friendly navigation and includes:
- new resources to help students make their money go further in Making the Most of your Money;]
- answers to student money FAQs in our A-Z Guidance;
- signposting to funding opportunities at all levels of study.
As part of the team’s commitment to ensuring that University of Manchester students are financially savvy and have an outstanding student experience, they have also teamed up with Blackbullion to deliver a brand new interactive financial education toolkit. The product is made up of 3-5 minute online modules on financial topics from pre-arrival to life after University (and everything in between - including the all-important budgeting skills), and is designed for students to take control of their finances on the go. There’s an introductory video on our website to give you an idea of what this resource can do, with a sample module to follow in August.
