Celebrating four years of School-University partnership
08 Jun 2016
Join the SUPI Celebration event on Wednesday, 6 July (4.30-7pm) at The Whitworth
Since 2013, the School-University Partnership Initiative (SUPI) has been run at The University of Manchester with backing from Research Councils UK. Over the past four years the Initiative has supported the direct engagement of university researchers with school and college students, bringing contemporary research into formal and informal learning environments to enhance the National Curriculum and widen participation to Higher Education.
On the evening of Wednesday, 6 July 2016 we will be holding a Celebration Event in order to recognise the contribution of all those who have been involved in partnership activities since the Initiative began and to look forward to the future of School-University partnership in years to come.
Whether you have been involved in the Initiative in the past or would simply like to know more about how schools and colleges will continue to benefit from partnership with research staff at the University of Manchester, we would like to cordially invite you to attend.
The event will take place at the Whitworth Art Gallery from 4.30pm to 7pm. It will feature:
- a Recognising Contribution Ceremony
- live music
- a poster display
- drinks and canapés

We do hope you can attend and look forward to seeing you there on the night.
