New P&DR process launched in PSS
04 May 2016
The new P&DR process is now launched throughout Professional Support Services (apart from FLS and MHS Faculty Offices)
P&DR meetings are the single most important way in which the University ensures that each and every individual (or team in some areas) is able to perform to the best of their abilities and fulfil their professional aims and ambitions.
We believe that people want to do a good job, to get satisfaction from their work, and to be appropriately recognised and rewarded in return, and that regular, honest and open communication is the key to this.
The P&DR period has now commenced, running from May to July 2016. Your manager will be in touch soon to arrange your P&DR meeting and you can prepare for this by downloading the new P&DR form in the online P&DR system.
Reviewer training
Reviewer training is essential. It will cover the philosophy, new roles and responsibilities and the supporting IT system. Please ensure that you have completed the training before carrying out your P&DRs.
Reviewee training
Under the new process, the reviewee will be able to ensure their review is effective by preparing for it and contributing to the meeting. Online reviewee training is also provided.
