Northern Consulting Case Competition

North West Biotech Initiative is pleased to announce the launch of the Northern Consulting Case Competition

We are welcoming applicants to our consulting competition.

The nature of this competition hopes to bring together students and professionals from a range of multidisciplinary backgrounds to focus on consulting and biotechnology. Acting as consulting firms, teams will present a recommendation to our expert judges on which company a large biotech company should acquire to increase its portfolio. Teams will  be  presented  with  profiles  of  several  companies  containing  information  regarding  IP,  product portfolio  and  clinical  trial  data.  The  teams  are  then  asked  to  make  a  recommendation  regarding  a deal  between  the  client  and  the  potential case  companies.  The winning  team  will  be  awarded  a £1000 cash prize.

We are asking teams of 4 or 5 to first register their interest, then apply to the competition by 22 May. To apply please send CVs for each member of your team and a one page cover letter on why your team should take part in the competition to nwbiotechinitiative@gmail.com. All questions can be sent to this email as well. All members of the team will need to be able to able to travel to Manchester on Saturday 25 June to pitch the presentation.
