This week’s Wednesday Workshop is Kettlebell Sport at the Wellbeing Rooms, Simon Building, on Wednesday, 4 May 2.30– 4pm.
Whether you're a beginner or an elite athlete you can become leaner, stronger, fitter and healthier by supplementing your training with kettlebells.
As a training tool the kettlebell can simultaneously develop strength, flexibility, stability, endurance and cardiovascular capacity. None more so than in the lifts used in Kettlebell Sport; Jerk, Snatch and Clean and Jerk. You will be coached through these lifts and some of the more basic Kettlebell exercises such as Swings.
