Tweet for free tickets to ESOF conference
28 Apr 2016
Friday, 29 April marks 100 days until the ESOF opening ceremony and, to celebrate, the organisers are giving away 100 conference day tickets to early career researchers and students
All you have to do is follow @ESOF2016 and tweet your favourite science fact using the hashtag #ESOF100days. ESOF will then get in touch with you to check your student/early career research credentials and to arrange which day you would like to attend.
ESOF would be incredibly grateful if you could take a moment to do a tweet for them today or in the coming weeks. You could either:
- get the ball rolling with a science fact of your own – it doesn’t matter if you don’t actually need/want a ticket;
- retweet the ESOF tweet about the competition;
- raise awareness of the competition with your own tweet, like MSP have done.
Please do spread the word about the competition through your contacts and networks – the competition will keep going until all 100 tickets are taken.

The designation of European City of Science to Manchester is a first for the UK – and the University is playing a big part in the celebrations, which include the Euroscience Open Forum (ESOF).
There are a myriad of ways you can contribute to the proceedings: through sharing your stories, images and ideas, or promoting your research, or as part of events you are hosting.
The University has a team of facilitators, who can connect you with ESOF organisers and will also monitor and record ideas and activities suggested for European City of Science and its associated events.
