Planned essential network maintenance this Saturday morning

As part of a series of changes which are taking place on the University network, we are planning to perform essential network maintenance this Saturday 19 March.
The work will start at approximately 8am.
We expect this work to take approximately two hours, however we are allowing a maintenance and testing period of up to 4pm to ensure the change has gone ahead successfully.
While we are not expecting there to be a complete loss of network connectivity throughout this time, there will be short intermittent periods of connectivity loss while the work is taking place.
We’ll be posting regular progress reports on our @UoM_ITS Twitter account, and technical information will be posted on the Service Notification System. All technical queries should be directed to the IT Support Centre; we will be unable to answer queries via Twitter during the work.
