CIEH Accredited Manual Handling Course
08 Mar 2016
This qualification is aimed at those for whom manual handling forms a regular or significant part of their role and provides essential information about manual handling hazards and their control.
Some of the most common forms of work-related ill-health are back problems and other aches and pains. These injuries are most commonly associated with the manual handling of materials, by either trying to move excessive weights or a failure to use correct lifting procedures.
The CIEH Level 2 Award in Manual Handling – Principles and Practice combines both the theoretical and hands-on elements of the subject and teaches learners techniques to lift, carry, push and pull objects safely within their individual capabilities.
The next course will be held on the 27th April 2016.
