TfGM Oxford Road transformation - planned disruptive works near Whitworth Park

From Monday, 14 March, the left-turn out of Moss Lane East into Oxford Road will be temporarily closed for a period of around four weeks
This is to enable essential gas diversion work to take place in this location. The majority of work will take place on the section of Oxford Road just in front of Whitworth Park. This will mean that the road heading into the city centre will be narrower at this point. Advance driver signage will be in place on Lloyd Street to inform drivers of the closure. Alternate routes are available along Denmark Road and Booth Street West.
Bus users should also be aware that the bus stop outside Whitworth Park will be suspended while this work takes place. Alternative bus stops are nearby.
