The University of Manchester Men’s Hockey Club are thrilled to have secured sponsorship from an international recruitment consultancy based locally in South Manchester
Amoria Bond has chosen to back the sports team as part of their local recruitment strategy and to mark the start of their tenth year in business.
Jack Miller, Sponsorship Secretary for the Hockey Team, hopes that this financial backing will give the team, who finished third in the BUCs Northern 1A League last year, a massive boost. Jack said “The team has a huge desire to win and Amoria Bond is a multi-award winning business. This will be a potentially explosive partnership and the funding will certainly help the team to continue our success.”
This alliance is an indication of the rising interest in graduate and millennial hiring especially within the Manchester area and in particular from the recruitment industry. Amoria Bond’s founders Daniel Daw and Gareth Lloyd, both former students of The University of Manchester, have expanded their multi-million pound business from Didsbury into Singapore, Cologne and Amsterdam primarily through hiring graduates and junior sales people.
Gareth Lloyd commented “It’s important to support competitive activities within Manchester, especially as times are becoming increasingly difficult for graduates to differentiate themselves. We were impressed by the genuine passion and proactivity that the hockey leadership team demonstrated for the sport that they love. It’s very much in line with the mindset we look for at Amoria Bond.”
