Last minute half-term suggestions for you; new discounts in the Northern Quarter and for official Manchester Airport parking, plus our latest competition winners!
Food and drink
We have really opened up the Northern Quarter for you as you can now access 20% off at four fantastic restaurants: Rosylee, Tusk, Walrus and Infamous Diner. During February, Rosylee also has a 50% off deal and Tusk has two pizzas and two beers for £10.10! Urban Cookhouse normally provides you with a 20% discount but your standard offer has now been increased to 50% off on Mondays & 20% off the rest of the week. Plus throughout all of February it’s 50% off food!
Last minutes for half-term
Save 25% at Chill Factore with snow activities for all the family. The Key for the City card is £10 a year, giving you significant discounts at Dog Bowl, Black Dog Ballroom, Trafford Golf Centre, Band on the Wall and tenpin bowling. Save 30-40% with Merlin Group which operates the UK’s leading attractions including within the region - SEA LIFE Centres in Blackpool and at the Trafford Centre; The Dungeons at Blackpool Tower and York; LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre, Trafford Centre.
Travel
You can now save 17.5% by pre-booking official Manchester Airport parking via a new UoM dedicated link. You can also receive 50% off any Security FastTrack ticket. If you are looking for ideas for holidays you can choose from our in-house travel offers from Cottages.com, SuperBreak, IHG, Hilton, canal boat experiences, campervans4fun and holiday and money transfer services. Plus our discounts provider Perkz also has a fantastic range of offers saving you between 5-60% with Hotelopia, Park Resorts, Warner Leisure Hotels and P&O Ferries.
Entertainment and leisure
The Opera House has a £20 best available offer for Let it Be running 29 February to 5 March.
Fitness and outdoors
You can join The Gym at The Midland Hotel until the end of February 2016 for £50 a month with no joining fee. Your membership has many extras including 20% discount on spa treatments. You can save 15% in-store and online with Cotswold Outdoor including their store on Deansgate.
Sport
One of our regular discount providers, City Scene, has a £15 offer to see Warrington Wolves v Wakefield Wildcats. Under 16s only £5. Withington Golf Club is currently running offers for women.
Clothes swap – 24 February
UMSA will be holding a monthly clothes swap at the Wellbeing Rooms, Simon Building. Clothes will always be available to swap plus a theme. The next swap will be 24th Feb where the theme will be books and magazines. More details here.
Community
The YMCA Manchester has several discounted charity places for the Manchester Marathon on 10/4 for sale. If you choose to run for them you can get a place for £30 instead of the £60 it would normally cost (minimum sponsorship £150).
