Registration now open for The Careers in Statistics Fair

The Careers in Statistics Fair, to be held on Wednesday, 2 March 2016, will be an invaluable event for anyone interesting in the wide range of different statistical careers available
Organised by the School of Mathematics at The University of Manchester, and supported by the Royal Statistical Society Manchester Local Group, The Careers in Statistics Fair is for anyone who is about to embark on, or is at the beginning of, their statistical career. Whether you have already begun to specialise in a particular area of statistics, or are still studying, this event will provide invaluable information, advice and networking opportunities.
Statistics covers fields as diverse as medicine, finance, industry, environment, government and academia. There will be a range of talks from these areas. Speakers are confirmed from HMRC, the Royal Statistical Society, Lubrizol, AWE, Ernst and Young, AstraZeneca, Medical Statistics in the Public Sector and Academia.
The event will take place 1.30-4pm on Wednesday, 2 March 2016 in the Alan Turing Building (number 46 on the campus map).
