01 Feb 2016
Don’t be a desk jockey, join the University's walking event on 11 February and feel happier, healthier and more productive at work
Transport for Greater Manchester and pedestrian charity Living Streets will be supporting the Lunchtime Strollers - look out for more details soon or email:Building on the fantastic work of the University's Lunchtime Strollers, we will be hosting a walking event on Thursday, 11 February, with two 45 minute walks (setting off at 12.15pm and 1.15pm) and stalls with information and incentives, situated inside University Place (where the walks will start).
All you need to do is record your walking on a postcard (to be provided), pop it in the special post box and you could be the lucky winner who receives a £50 voucher. Living Streets will scan all the postcards, do the sums and let you know how you got on.

In the build up to the event, Paul O'Sullivan at Living Streets is really keen to sign up as many staff as possible to this really simple walking challenge. He is so keen that he has made himself available for you to contact him and book in a visit to talk you through what's involved. He's a lovely guy, so please spare a few minutes for a visit.
Paul is available nearly every day of the fortnight commencing Monday, 1 February to visit the University with promotional materials and further information.
