‘Calm and a Clementine’ lunchtime relaxation session for staff
15 Dec 2015
Why not take some time before Christmas to relax?
Have you had a challenging time recently? Will you be ready for a break and feeling as though you need a well-deserved rest?
The ‘Calm and a Clementine’ sessions run by the Counselling Service – for staff only on Tuesday, 22 December – are an opportunity to relax and are a great way to spend time learning to get into a state of calm energy and are an introduction to ways of maintaining wellbeing.
Each session will include mindfulness-based stress reduction and relaxation: an opportunity to learn specific stress management techniques based on “the relaxation response”, and mindfulness meditation.
No need to book – just turn up to the large group Wellbeing Room on the first floor of the Simon building. The sessions will run for half an hour as follows:
- 12-12.30pm
- 12.30-1pm
- 1-1.30pm
- 1.30-2pm
You are welcome to stay for more than one session if you would like.
