Celebrating the UN’s International Day of Disabled People
23 Nov 2015
Come together at free event on Thursday, 3 December
The United Nations has designated Thursday, 3 December as the International Day of Disabled People (IDDP).
Our University’s Disabled Staff Network (DSN) is once again working with Manchester Metropolitan University’s Disabled Staff Forum (DSF) to hold a joint event to celebrate the 2015 IDDP.
It follows the success of the first collaboration last year to celebrate this day and is supported by our respective Equality and Diversity teams and Students’ Unions.
This year’s event ‘Dis-Ability Manchester: Thinking Inside the Box’ will be held on Thursday, 3 December from 2pm to 6pm in University Place, Oxford Road.
A free event, it will be open to all students and members of staff at both universities.
