Charity head shave in aid of St Ann's Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support and Manchester United Foundation
University colleague Selena Zafar is shaving her head to raise money for three charities close to her heart – St Ann's Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support and the Manchester United Foundation.
The University of Manchester Library Customer Services Assistant said: “I have first-hand experience of the great work St Ann's Hospice does for patients and their families at the most difficult of times.
“My father is a cancer survivor and the support Macmillan provided was instrumental in his recovery.
“I also grew up in Old Trafford and the work Manchester United Foundation does for the wider community is inspirational.”
Selena will shave off her dark, curly locks on Saturday, 19 December.
