Quatuor Danel Evening Concert
13 Nov 2015
Friday 20 November, 7.30pm, at the Martin Harris Centre.
Join the university's much-loved resident string quartet, Quatuor Danel, for a stimulating evening featuring Beethoven's effervescent quartet debut and Mozart's peerless K456, known as the 'Dissonance', because of its searching, chromatic introduction. In between we have the eight-minute first quartet composed of 18 by Germany's leading exponent of the genre.
Beethoven Quartet in F, Op. 18, No. 1
Rihm Quartet No. 1 (1970)
Mozart Quartet in C, K456 'Dissonance'
