02 Nov 2015
Find out how you can get involved at the first planning meeting on 10 November (6.30-8-pm) at the Friends' Meeting House
The Manchester Histories Festival team are holding a planning meeting to discuss how people can get involved next year.
The festival celebrates and reveals the unique histories and heritage of Greater Manchester over ten days, helping people to learn about past histories and take part in creating tomorrow's histories.
The next one will run from Friday, 3 June to Sunday, 12 June 2016 and there are lots of ways for academics and students to take part through hosting events, digital activities, performances, talks, workshops, exhibitions, volunteering and so on.
Annie Keane, Director of the European City of Science Programme, will also be present to talk about how you can get involved in their celebrations, which will run until next October.
