New Head of School of Arts, Languages and Cultures

Following a rigorous selection process, a new Head of School has been appointed to the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures

Professor Alessandro Schiesaro will join the School on 1 July 2016 from his current role as Director of the School for Advanced Studies at Sapienza University of Rome, where he is also Professor of Latin Literature and Head of Classical Philology.

Professor Stephen Hutchings, who is currently Acting Head of the School of Arts, Languages and Cultures, will continue in this role in the interim period.
