It’s health and fitness benefits for you this week!
There are updates on how you can save money on Garmin watches, Spa Days via Perkz, Key for the City card, The Sugden Centre, The Body Shop, Nuffield’s Health’s Fitness Centre at the Printworks and their health assessments and Perkz’s monthly competition!
Wellbeing Week
It’s been another great Wellbeing Week on campus and there is still time to try a new activity and visit the new Wellbeing Rooms in the Simon Building, (Campus Map reference: 59).
Fitness
The Sugden Sports Centre is conveniently situated right in the centre of campus providing you with the ideal venue to exercise, keep fit and play sport before or after work or during your lunch break. Memberships start at £10.75 per month (via payroll deduction) for access to the gym and fitness classes.
If you aren’t able to attend the great on-campus facilities, Nuffield Health (Manchester Printworks) is offering you reduced rate corporate membership and anybody who signs up for a 12 month membership during October will receive one month free Full Peak anytime usage corporate membership. Health
If you have considered a full body check, Nuffield Health is also offering you a minimum of 15% discount on their health assessments . You will receive a comprehensive view of your health covering key health concerns such as diabetes, heart health, cancer risk and emotional wellbeing. If you are signed up for the Simplyhealth cash plan you can also receive 50% cash back on your health screen too!

The Body Shop has an offer valid now until 17th October at The Trafford Centre store. Although this is officially a student offer they are opening this up to anyone who works at the University too. All you need to do is bring ID with you or print off the leaflet.
