Bring a bag of winter warmers to work

Help the homeless and vulnerable people in our city this winter with Lifeshare
'Winter Warmers' is your chance to clear out your wardrobe and food cupboards and donate items to local charity Lifeshare.
Following the successful toiletries campaign run by the MECD Faculty Project Team earlier this year, the team are looking to support Lifeshare throughout the winter months.
The charity are in need of the following items:
- Clothes and accessories: socks, underwear, jeans, coats, trainers, jumpers, hoodies, hats, scarves, gloves, backpacks and sleeping bags;
- Food and drink: tea, coffee, sugar, cereals, instant noodles, pasta, beans, rice, tuna, tinned meats and meals (ie curry, chilli, meatballs, hot dogs).
Simply pop the items in a bag and drop them off to the MECD team (B43, Sackville Street Building) or alternatively email askMECD@manchester.ac.uk to enquire about arranging a collection (if based on south campus).
The MECD Faculty Project Team would like to thank all who previously donated their toiletries to Lifeshare. The charity were overwhelmed with how many items were delivered and we hope to have an even better result this time!
