Get ready to give our new students a warm welcome

Welcome Week 2015 is here - so be ready to give our new students a warm welcome.

Some 15,000 new students are joining us, many from overseas and most away from home, living away for the first time.

We'd appreciate it if staff could wear their Ask Me badges and be ready to help where required.  If you don’t yet have your Ask Me badge or guide, please email studentmarketing@manchester.ac.uk, or check the Welcome website. Thank you for helping to welcome our students!

President and Vice Chancellor Nancy Rothwell will be wearing her Ask Me badge.

As she says in this week's President's Message: "Over the next few days we will see many new students arriving on our campus, with a significant number coming from overseas. I am sure that you will all give them a very warm welcome and will support and advise them as best you can. I will be wearing my ‘Ask Me’ badge (as I hope you will), though I may be referring new students to others for the best advice."
