Changes to the discounts pages

When you visit Reward and Benefits you will now notice that staff discounts section has become a secure area. When you click on this section you will be directed to a page for you sign on using your University username and password so you can quickly access all the discounts. The benefits of this change for you are that you will be able to instantly access all the various promo/access codes; and secondly more providers will be willing to offer discounts in the future as it is now a secure site for only UoM staff. You can still access information on a wide range of other benefits such as Kiddivouchers, Cyclescheme, various on-site wellbeing and health and fitness events and facilities and travel to work offers as before. Why not visit the benefits pages and explore the changes!

Walking Works Event – Wednesday 9th September

Building on the success of the University’s very own Lunchtime Strollers Group, come along to an event to showcase the many benefits walking can provide. Places are available on a first come, first served basis. You can book yourself on either walk. Staff who are qualified ‘Walking for Health’ walk leaders will be on hand to answer questions during the walks and will encourage you to join the regular on-campus walks which take place 4 days a week (Tuesday to Friday). Lancashire Cricket Club Luncheon

LCCC will be hosting a special luncheon on Monday September 14th - when Lancashire will be playing Surrey in what could well be the County Championship Division 2 title decider - but it will also celebrate the following historic moment in LCCC history when 25 years ago Lancashire won the "One Day double." They will have several of the players from that team - including Warren Hegg - as guests on the day. The event will be held in the prestigious Point and tickets are just £30 and will include a superb two course meal - and a match ticket for the day!
