Help MECD to collect unused toiletries for local charity, Lifeshare
28 Jul 2015
Deodorant, shampoo, toilet roll - your toiletries are needed!
Going away over summer? Overstocked on your 2-4-1 shampoos, shower gels and deodorants? Picked up too many hotel freebies? If so, you can help the Manchester Engineering Campus Development's (MECD) Faculty Project Team with their mission to collect unused toiletries for Lifeshare.
Lifeshare is a fantastic charity which aims to prevent and break the cycle of homelessness, reduce harm and promote health.
The MECD Faculty Project Team visited the charity to find out how they could help and what was needed to help keep the charity supporting the needs of the homeless and vulnerable people of Manchester and Salford.
You can help by donating any of the following products:
- Shaving kits
- Deodorant
- Shower gel
- Toilet roll
- Bath towels
- Toothpaste/toothbrushes
- Miniature toiletries
Simply bring the products to B43, Sackville Street Building and pop them in the office drop-box.
