New Head of Learning and Development

Jonathan Winter, currently Head of HR for the Faculty of Life Sciences, has been appointed Head of Learning and Development

He replaces Paul Dixon, who is taking early retirement after holding the position since January 2003. Jonathan has been appointed for one year and the University will be seeking a temporary replacement as Head of HR for Life Sciences for that period.

Karen Heaton, Director of Human Resources, said: "I would like to thank Paul for his strong leadership of the STDU. Jonathan is moving into the role of Head of Learning and Development at an exciting and challenging time  and I look forward to working with him on establishing a University-wide learning strategy."
