Delays on rail network from Manchester Piccadilly
01 Jul 2015
All trains at Manchester Piccadilly are currently suspended because of overhead wire problems
National Rail have told passengers to expect delays of up to 40 minutes while engineers fix the problem.
A statement posted online said: “There is no firm estimate yet of how long disruption will last, but it is likely to continue until at least 5pm.”
The delays are expected to disrupt the journeys of hundreds of commuters making their way home from work as the rush hour begins.
