HR Services - On Line Timesheets now live

HR Services have been working with key users across the University to develop an On Line Timesheet System and a couple of pilot areas successfully implemented On Line Timesheets from April 2015
The scope of the Timesheet System was to provide a user friendly input facility for entering and authorising timesheet data, which limits errors using appropriate constraints and data from the HR/Payroll System.
The On Line Timesheet solution was designed to provide a web based tool for:
- administrators to enter timesheet information for casual staff and teaching assistants;
- budget holders to check and authorise this data;
- HR Services technical (payroll) to authorise and export this data in a csv format for upload to ResourceLink, the HR/Payroll system;
- all users to view timesheet data where necessary.
The aim is to transfer fully to the On Line Timesheet System for Casual Timesheets submissions by July 2015 and Teaching Assistants by October 2015.
