Call for Living Lab proposals
15 Jun 2015
The University Living Lab project seeks to develop the University campus as a site for applied teaching and research around sustainability and low carbon
The project connects researchers, students, external stakeholders and the Directorate of Estates and Facilities to facilitate new and exciting projects.
There is now an opportunity for Living Lab ideas to be included into the Schuster building extension project, which runs over the next two years. We are looking for research and teaching projects or recent innovations with a relevance to sustainability that could be implemented, tested and demonstrated in the new Annexe. This could involve the evaluation of a new technology, the inclusion of monitoring equipment and sensors, the exposure of certain building functions or any other real-world application of research expertise. Proposals can span all fields and disciplines.
Please send project ideas at any stage of development by 3 July 2015 to:
- Jana Wendler at jana.wendler@manchester.ac.uk
Support will be available from the Living Lab team to work these up into more detailed proposals.
