University History and Heritage launches new tours

University History and Heritage are now offering a substantially increased number of historical walking tours of the Oxford Road Campus
The University Heritage Tours explore the University’s origins and development, major buildings and sites of discovery, as well as discussing notable individuals from the University’s past
The University Heritage Tours are being led by a new team of heritage guides. All of the guides have been trained by the University Historian and Heritage Manager, Dr James Hopkins.
The new programme offers tours on alternating Wednesday and Saturday afternoons and can be booked online at:
The scheduled tours are open to all staff, students, alumni and members of the public. Members of staff who want to find out more about the University’s past or key historical achievements to help them in their role are very welcome.
