Some staff computers stuck on update screen - workaround available

Some PCs running the managed staff desktop are stalling on "System update 3 of 3", preventing people from logging in to their computers. This does not affect student cluster PCs.
Workaround:
Pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete on the keyboard should bring up the login page.
If this does not work, please bypass the on-screen instruction not to restart your PC during the update 3 of 3 and restart your computer if you believe the update has stalled and you are unable to login for some time.
However, a reboot should only be performed if pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete does not work and you are absolutely sure it has stalled.
This is being investigated as a matter of urgency, and is not known to re-occur once it has happened.
