Our scientists showcase their research in free exhibition for families

Your heart beats an amazing 100,000 times a day. It’s one of our most hard-working essential organs and you can find out more about it at a free interactive exhibition for families.

University researchers will be on hand, along with others from MMU and the British Heart Foundation, to show you:

how your heart beats
what your blood vessels look like
what can go wrong with your heart
current research and how it makes a difference

‘The Heart Experience’ will be held at Manchester Art Gallery, Mosley Street, Manchester, on Saturday, 6 June (11am – 4pm).
