A big thank you from the Student Surveys team
19 May 2015
The majority of student experience surveys have now closed with some very good response rates having been achieved
The NSS (National Student Survey) reached 74.4%, PTES (Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey) 32% and PRES (Postgraduate Researcher Experience Survey) 49%. Most of the Unit Surveys have also closed and online results are available for staff to view now, whilst paper surveys are still being processed.
The Surveys Team would like to say a big thank you to all the staff, both PSS and academic, who have worked so hard to promote the surveys and encourage as many students as possible to take part. It really does make an incredible difference to have your support and helps to ensure we can obtain a truly representative opinion of students’ experiences.
Surveys are a crucial method of finding out what students really think about their experiences at Manchester and are an invaluable means of demonstrating our commitment to listening to the student voice.
Once the results have been published, the University is committed to responding to and acting on student feedback wherever it can, promoting quality enhancement and ensuring we deliver the highest quality experience to our students.
The results of the NSS, PTES and PRES will be available during August and further details of the dissemination plan will be sent out in due course.
