Pay less for campus parking when you drive a low emission vehicle

The Low Emission Vehicle Scheme offers a reduction in the cost of staff parking permits for people who drive low emission vehicles emitting less than 110g/km of carbon dioxide
The tariff, which was launched in November 2014, is just one part of a package of measures designed to encourage lower carbon travel options.
The scheme offers:
- a 75% discount for staff with vehicles that emit less than 100g of CO2/km (currently tax band A);
- a 50% discount for staff with vehicles that emit between 101g and 110g of CO2/km (currently tax band B).
These criteria will be reviewed annually.
For an idea of which vehicles are eligible, see
