Do you love reading but don’t have time to prepare for a reading group? Come along to Book Break Reading on Friday, 22 May (1pm) in University Place 5.204
Book Break is a Reading Group with a difference. We read together, so you don’t need to prepare in advance. We meet alternately at lunch times or early evening, and the facilitator reads aloud whilst the group follows along.
We stop from time to time to talk about what we’ve just read – any bits we liked particularly, or speculation about what’s going to happen next, or maybe we disagree with the actions of a particular character – anything goes.
This is reading for leisure and pleasure, so we talk about whatever interests us in the story. It’s a great way to relax for an hour and we read short stories, so if you can’t get there every time you won’t miss anything.
