Can you help them get in the swim for Rio?
The British Para Swimming squad are looking for host families to take in under 18s swimmers during their training for next year’s Paralympic Games in Rio.
The National Programme is based here in Manchester and there are a number of swimmers training in preparation for the Games, which will see around 4,350 athletes from more than 160 countries competing in 526 medal events in 22 different sports in September 2016.
British Swimming, the national governing body for swimming, diving, synchronised swimming, water polo and open water in Great Britain, is searching for host families within the Manchester area and aims to ‘fit’ the right family with the right athlete so both parties are happy and content.
