Disruption of pedestrian routes on Oxford Road

From Thursday, 30 April there will be some disruption to pedestrians on both sides of Oxford Road while excavation work is carried out

The areas affected will be around the Kilburn Building and University Precinct, and also the public footpath along Booth Street West. Access routes through these areas and into buildings and retail premises will be maintained. 

This excavation work, which is part of the Manchester Business School redevelopment, is scheduled to take around two weeks. It will determine what underground services there are and also a route through for diverted services prior to demolition of the bridge later this year.
