Collaborative EPSRC Funding Opportunity

EPSRC has awarded The University of Manchester an extension of £1.7M to deliver an Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) following the successful conclusion of its £3.2M IAA programme (2012–15)

The University’s IAA Operations Board is pleased to announce the 9th call for proposals for funding under the following mechanisms:

  1. Concept Development and Feasibility Study Scheme ­- To bridge the gap in support for early stage commercialisation of ideas;
  2. Exploitation Secondment Scheme - To increase the exchange of knowledge through mobility of people between the university and user organisations;
  3. Academic Secondment Scheme - Support for Academic secondments between The University of Manchester and businesses and other organisations.

The Relationship Incubation Scheme and Outreach Fund ­are run as an open and responsive call.

The closing date for applications to this 9th call is 22nd July 2015, 12 noon. For further details, please click here.

Supported projects will be allocated funds against the new EPSRC IAA allocation (￡1.7M). Therefore, projects will not be able to start until 1 October 2015.
