Take part in a Dragon Boat Race!

Join the Confucius Institute’s Race Team!
On Saturday, 16 May 2015, the Confucius Institute at the University will take part in the annual Dragon Boat race at Lancaster University.
A coach will leave at 10am from outside the Students' Union on Oxford Road to take our team and supporters to Lancaster.
The event itself will start at midday with a safety briefing for all the teams and we expect the event to finish about 4pm. Team t-shirts will be provided.

The only requirements are the ability to swim 50 metres and obviously plenty of team spirit! If you haven’t done this sort of thing before, don’t worry, as a training session will be provided beforehand.

This is a great opportunity to take part in a really fun and exciting Chinese tradition. We hope to see many of you there!
