Is PASS a mystery to you?

23 Mar 2015

There are currently 900 students within the University of Manchester who are providing support to lower year students through Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) and there is a growing desire to increase this provision.

Want to know more about what PASS is and the benefits of this supplementary support?

The workshop is designed to introduce Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) from the basics, through the underlying principles to key elements required for implementation. It will enable participants to consider how PASS might be adapted to suit their discipline as well as showcase where subjects are currently using it (across a range of areas) to impact significantly on the student experience.

It will address key questions such as:

·        What is PASS?

·        How can it benefit my students?

·        What do I acquire from PASS?

·        What is required to set up a PASS Scheme?
